Welcome to LifeQuest. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the LifeQuest mobile application ("App") and related services (together, the "Service"), available on iOS and Android. By downloading, accessing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. The Service

LifeQuest is a motivation app. Each day, we deliver a motivational phrase tailored to the ambitions you tell us about, along with quests designed to help you make progress toward your goals. The Service also includes notifications and a home-screen widget.

2. Eligibility & Accounts

To use the Service you create an account. When you register, we collect your email address, a username (pseudonym), a 4-digit PIN code, and a device identifier used to secure and operate your account. You are responsible for keeping your PIN and account credentials confidential and for all activity that occurs under your account.

3. Subscriptions, Free Trial & Billing

• LifeQuest offers an annual subscription that unlocks the full Service.
• New subscriptions include a 7-day free trial.
• All subscriptions are purchased and managed exclusively through Apple's In-App Purchase (iOS) or Google Play Billing (Android). We do not process payments directly.
• Unless cancelled, your subscription renews automatically at the end of each annual period, and the applicable store charges your account.
• You may cancel at any time through your Apple or Google account subscription settings. If you cancel during the free trial, you will not be charged. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
• Refunds are handled according to the policies of Apple and Google. We do not directly issue refunds for store purchases.

4. Notifications

With your permission, we send push notifications, such as your daily motivational phrase and reminders. You can disable notifications at any time in your device settings.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse the Service, including attempting to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the App or our systems, or using the Service for any unlawful purpose.

6. Intellectual Property

The App, its content, design, and all related materials are owned by LifeQuest and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes.

7. Disclaimers

LifeQuest provides motivational content and quests for personal development and entertainment. It is not a substitute for professional advice, including medical, psychological, or financial advice. The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, LifeQuest shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

10. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms.
